Working as a small businessman in this current economic climate has felt like being in some sort of war. The ups and downs have been horrific, there is constant stress and volatility. At the same time, it feels like a lonely place to be as I don't really hang out with many other small business people. Those that I do meet tell me very similar stories and have shared some experiences that I learned from so that I could survive some of these awful experiences.

Having been chatting again the other day to yet another small businessman in distress I decided I would put down a few words of encouragement to others in the hope that they might help them through a crisis if they happen to find themselves in the midst of a business blitz.
